Research Methods for Social Sciences

This course is designed to give graduate students an overview of various research methods available to social scientists and enable students to plan and conduct their own research projects. The course will focus on the formulation of ideas about reality and designing and conducting social research projects. It will discuss the connections between theory, research questions, data collections, and interpretations as well as ethical issues relating to social research.
