As the new semester begins, Professor Magnus Ryner, head of the European & International Studies Department in King’s College London, visited our school. The two schools established cooperation in 2016 when the Double-Master Program in Asian & European Affairs was launched.
This double degree program is a two-year program, in which students spend the first year studying Asian affairs at Renmin University in Beijing, and the second year studying European affairs at King’s College London. After completing all requirements in both universities, the students are awarded two master degrees by two of the world’s most prestigious universities in their respective fields.
Professor Ryner’s visit was a great occasion for him to meet his Chinese counterpart Professor Li Chen, and the new cohort of students enrolled in the double-master program. Thirteen students entered the program this semester: seven of them are local students, the other six come from the UK, France, Germany, Romania, and Turkey.
